East Metro Park

Today we decided to head east and played East Metro Park, just south of Manor.  I love this course.  It has everything, tight technical shots, some wide open fairways, punishing roughs, elevation changes and water hazards.  Today's group consisted of Steve, Dave, Bob, Lif, Mike and myself.   The temperature was a little chilly, in the upper 30's when we started but warmed up to the upper 50's by the time we finished.  Bright sunshine and no wind.  Almost perfect conditions.

The condition of the course was good, the freezes we have had recently killed some the vegetation.  We hardly spent any time at all looking for discs.  Apparently, a herd of feral hogs has been roaming the course.  Many of the fairways were rutted up.  I did not see any other groups playing today, we had the course to ourselves.

Two birdies made today by Steve and one by Dave.  No discs lost, one disc found by Dave, a yellow Beast in the fairway.
