Roy G. Guerrero - Blustery Day

 It was a cool and blustery day to play Roy G.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Keith, Lif, Chris and Heady.  Temperatures were in the low 50's, mostly cloudy skies and a 20+mph wind blowing.  Course conditions were good and there were several other groups on the course.

Nobody had a real stellar round today, the wind and the cold were factors.  

Damn few pars and only one birdie made today:  Steve on hole #14.

MetCenter - I did not play

 I was in Dallas last weekend and the group played The MetCenter.  The players were:  Steve, Dave, Chris, Darden, Lif and Keith.  It looked like a good day for some disc golf.  Chris started slow but really picked it up on the back nine.  There were only four birdies:  Chris(3) and Steve(1).  Chris took a few photos.

Zilker Park - Rainy Day

 Weather conditions this morning dictated that we should play Zilker Park.  Today's players were:  Steve, Lif, Chris and Heady.  Temperatures were in the upper 50's, overcast skies and a light drizzle was falling.  At least the wind was not blowing.  Course conditions were wet and there were only a few other players on the course.

I had a decent front nine but I fell off the par train on the back nine.  My approach shots were letting me down.  Lif had a few putting adventures.  The weather was a factor.

Only four birdies were made today:  Chris(3) and Heady(1).  One disc found in a tree and one disc lost via a walk off.

Steeplechase - Foggy morning

 It was a foggy morning in Manchaca when we ate at breakfast at Macho Tacos.  Afterwards, we drove down to Kyle to the Steeplechase DGC.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Lif, Darden and Heady.  The weather was much nicer than last week!  Temperatures in the upper 70's, partly cloudy skies and no wind to speak of.  Course conditions were fair, it looks like they got a lot of rain recently.  A few trees were down and most of the bridges were washed away.  There were several other groups on the course.

Nine birdies were made today:  Steve(3), Lif(2), Darden(2), Keith(1), Rob(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

There was a lot of this today!
