Circle C - Sunday Morning

Immediately after yesterday's round at the MetCenter, Steve and I played poker until the wee hours of the morning. Nevertheless, after a few hours of sleep, we were ready to play Circle C.  Today's group consisted of Keith, Dave, Bob, Steve, Burko and myself.  Beautiful weather, warm and partly cloudy.  The winds that plagued us yesterday had died down.  Because of the nice weather we had to contend with numerous other groups on the course.

Keith had a very nice round today (and yesterday too), shooting even par with four birdies.  Even with the lack of sleep I played well today, I was only one stroke over my personal best for this course.  After a string of 5 pars on the back nine, fatigue caught up me on the last three holes.  A total of six birdies were made today:  Keith(4), Rob(1) and Bob(1).  We all sucked on #18, although Bob and Dave did manage to bogey it.  No discs lost, no discs found.

MetCenter - Saturday Afternoon

We played a late afternoon round on Saturday at the MetCenter because Lif was not able to play on Sunday morning.  It felt a little strange playing in the afternoon but we adjusted quickly.  Today's group consisted of Lif, Dave, Keith, Bob, Steve and myself.  The weather was warm, partly cloudy and a little breezy.  Playing against the wind on number 10, the par 5 hole, was a challenge.  Most of the course was dry, but for some unknown reason the little pond was almost full.  Water was seeping from the base of the berm causing some muddy conditions.

Good use was made today of Lif's Rake-Anator 3000.  Several discs found their way into the little creek.  Unfortunately, after and extensive search, we lost one of Dave's discs today to the dirty water.  Three birdies were made today:  Keith(1), Steve(1) and Heady(1).
