Dreamland - Dripping Springs

After a delectable breakfast at Macho Taco's in Manchaca, we ventured west to Dripping Springs to play the fun but challenging Dreamland course.  This is only the second time we've played this course.  We need to play it more than once a year.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Lif, Dave, Darden and Heady.  We had great weather, temperatures were in the 80's, mostly sunny skies and a slight breeze.  Course conditions were good and we pretty much had the course to ourselves.

I had some good throws today and a few bad ones.  I had a disaster on hole 3, ending up with  snowman.  Most of my approach shots were good but I really blew a couple of them.  My putting was strong.

A total of nine birdies were made today:  Darden(3), Heady(2), Steve(2), Lif(1) and Dave(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Brushy Creek and Davis Springs

We went up north this week to play Brushy Creek (Cat Hollow) and Davis Springs.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Lif, Dave, Donald and Heady.  The temperature and the humidity was in the 80's, mostly cloudy skies, even had a brief drizzle.  There was an intermittent breeze that caused some grief.  Course conditions were good, looks like they got a little rain.  There were lots and lots of other players on the course.

I played about my average for this course.  I had some good throws on my drive and some bad rolls on my approaches.  Dave had the shot of the day with a 60 foot tunnel shot birdie on #18.  Afterwards, Steve, Keith and I played the nine hole course at Davis Springs

There were only four birdies made today:  Steve(2), Heady(1) and Dave(1).  No discs lost and one disc found.

Circle C - Humid Day

It's been a little while since we've played Circle C.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Chris, Lif, Darden, Dave and Heady.  The temperature and the humidity were in the 80's which made for a sweaty day.  Skies were mostly cloudy and not really a lot of wind blowing.

I didn't play as well as last week, had problems with my control and missed several putts, including two birdie attempts.  Lif had a good round today and had a very nice drive on #8 which lead to an easy birdie.

There were six birdies made today:  Steve(2), Heady(1), Dave(1), Lif(1) and Chris(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.
