MetCenter - Last Round of the Year

For New Years Eve we decided to play a relaxing round at the MetCenter.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Chris and Heady.  It was a little chilly this morning with temperatures in the 40's but it warmed up nicely.  Sunny skies and only a gentle north breeze.  Course conditions were good, looks like they've had some rain recently.  There were not many other players on the course.

I wasn't getting the distance on my drives today, the multiple layers of clothes were restrictive.  I started off slow, three putting on #2 did not help.  I did pick it up some on the back nine.  Everyone else had a pretty good round.  Steve made four birdies in a row!

There were 11 birdies made today:  Steve(5), Chris(4) and Dave(2).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Circle C - Saturday Round

There was a 90 percent chance of rain on Sunday, so we decided to play Circle today when there was only a 30 percent chance for rain.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Chris and Heady.  Temperatures were in the lower 60's, it was a little foggy and there was no wind blowing.  Course conditions were good.  Thanks to Steve for bringing the Macho Tacos, they were a lifesaver.  There were a few other players on the course including a group of eight ahead of us.  We finally got past them on #14.

I was very hung over this morning, I stayed up late drinking Manhattans last night.  In addition to that, my cedar allergies were killing me and my muscles were sore from working out the day before.  Despite all of those ailments, I put together a pretty good round, ending up only seven over.  I got lucky on some approach shots and made a pretty long putt on #12 to save bogey.  I also missed a couple of easy putts.  Steve made a long birdie on #4, Chris almost threw it in from 60 feet on #17.

There were six birdies made today:  Steve(4) and Heady(2).  No discs lost and no discs found.  Not many pictures today.  Not many came out very well because of the low light.

East Metro Park - A chilly morning in Manor

It was cold when we met up at 8:30 at the East Metro Park in Manor.  Today's players were:  Steve, Chris, Dave, Lif and Heady.  Temperatures were in the lower 40's, but the sun was shining.  A north breeze was blowing about 15mph but the trees blocked most of the wind.  Course conditions have changed.  They cleared a lot of brush off the fairways.   Almost too much on some holes and the moved the basket on #8 (the long par 5) about 75 feet closer.

I had an alright day, my drives weren't that great but several of my approach shots were spot on.  I only missed one putt.

Only three birdies made today:  Steve(1), Dave(2) and Chris(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.
