East Metro Park - Manor

Sunday we wanted to play East Metro Park in Manor one more time before it got too overgrown.  This is a very technical course and the rough can be punishing if you have a bad throw.  So it's best to play this course before the thorns have grown too long.  Today's players were:  Steve, Bob, Keith, Dave, Lif, Mike, Donald, Jimmy and Heady.  It was a bit chilly when we started with temperatures in the lower 40's.  Skies were overcast and there was not wind to speak of.  Course conditions were good, a little muddy in places.  Only a couple of players were on the course today.

I played below my average for the course.  I kept hitting too many trees and I missed about three putts I should've made.  Lif and Dave both had 'shots of the day', each with about a 120 foot shot to save par on #1 and #7 respectively.  Both Lif and Dave had to bail out early after hole 14.

A total of nine birdies were made today:  Bob(2), Donald(2), Steve(2), Keith(1) and Mike(1).  No discs lost and at least two discs found.
