MetCenter

Its been a few months since we played the Metcenter and if finally stopped raining enough for us to give it a try.  This course is located in a flood plain, has a pond and a little creek and it can get mushy in some areas.  It was a muddy is some spots but it was playable.  Today's players were:  Steve, Brian, Dave, Keith, Lif, Bob and myself.  There were several other groups playing the course today.

The weather when we started was overcast, cool and breezy.  By the time we finished the clouds had burned off and it turned out to be a nice day.  This course offers little protection from the wind and that contributed to the higher scores today.  The back nine was especially tough.  However, it did not seem to affect Steve very much, he ended up with a fine score.  Brian had a very nice front nine, including three birdies.  Between the wind and trees I had a poor day.  My drives were not bad but my approach shots and putting suffered.  I had a couple of disaster holes on the back nine.

Eight birdies were made today:  Brian(3), Dave(2), Keith(2) and Steve(1).  No discs lost, no discs found.
