Northtown

They made some improvements to the Northtown course so we decided to check them out.  The biggest improvement was the replacement of the crushed gravel tee pads with concrete tee pads.  The course was also mowed recently.  They did a very nice job on the tee pads, unfortunately it did not help with our scores today.  The weather was in the upper 80's, mostly sunny but a pretty good breeze was blowing.  I blame the wind for poor play today.

This course looks easier that it plays.  If you avoid the trees and the water you can get a good score.  I found a lot of trees today and the water a couple of times.  I think we will get better with time on this course.

More frosties than birdies today, four birdies were made today:  Steve(2), Keith(1) and Dave(1).  No discs lost, no discs found.  I almost lost a throwaway disc on number 12 but I could barely see the edge sticking out of the muck.  Good thing Steve brought his stick today.
