East Metro - Manor

With the city course still closed because of COVID-19 we decided to play East Metro Park in Manor.  We usually don't play this course in the summer because the rough is very unforgiving.  Very thick brush with lots of thorns.  Temperatures were in the 90's, mostly sunny skies and not much wind to speak of.  There was sweat and there was blood.  Today's players were:  Steve, Lif, Keith, Bob, Chris, Dave, Dave Darden and Heady.  Good to see Darden again, it's been too long.  Course conditions were dry and some fairways were recently mowed.  Only a few other players on the course.

I did about average today.  I had a couple of disaster holes (so did several other players) and I missed two putts that I thought I had.  Still, I did not do too badly.  Dave Darden has not played in a couple of years but he did very well.  He has not lost his distance.  Keith found his putting stroke again.

Six birdies were made today:  Lif(2), Keith(1), Steve(1), Chris(1), Rob(1).  Two discs lost and one disc found.
