Brushy Creek (aka Cat Hollow)

We tried to find the driest course in the Austin area to play this week and decided that Brushy Creek would be in the best condition.  It was only a little bit muddy because this course has very good drainage.  The entire course is in a drainage area.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Keith, Lif, Brian and myself.  Temperatures were in the mid 70's, abundant sunshine and a steady north wind.  Lots of other players on the course today enjoying the beautiful weather.

This is a mostly short, technical course which are my favorite kind to play.  However, I always have trouble with this course.  Many of the fairways are very narrow and my drives always ended up behind a tree.  The entire group had problems with the wind.  If you did not keep your disc low it would sail away.

A total of five birdies were made:  Steve(2), Heady(1), Keith(1) and Brian(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Lif starts us off!

Steve putting on #3

Dave on the #4 fairway

Keith with his second shot on #10

Brian with an approach on #10

Steve with a birdie on #10.  Nice job!

A very nice day to play

Brian with a mulligan

Keith with a nice drive on #13

Keith with his birdie

Brian fighting the wind for his birdie on #14

Lif's drive went a little too far right!

Lif finishes on #18
