Circle C - Muddy Day

Because of all the rain we've had it's been two weeks since we played.  Two days ago we had record breaking rainfall in Austin and Circle C was probably the only course around that we could play.  It still was pretty muddy.  Today's players were Steve, Dave, Lif, Keith and Heady.  Lif brought Roscoe the wonder dog along.   He loves to run around and get in the water. Lif had to bail out early for reasons I will explain later.  Temperatures were in the 60's when we started, partly cloudy skies and an intermittent breeze. Only a few other groups were on the course so we did not have to wait on anybody.

I played a little below my average, my drives were good for the most part but I missed at least four putts that I should have made.  We had a little adventure on the #6 tee pad.  Apparently there was a colony of ground yellow jackets next to the tee pad.  We disturbed them when we were driving and they swarmed all around us.  No time for a mulligan today!  Except for me, everyone else including Roscoe got stung.  Poor Roscoe  got stung several times and he was not feeling well at all.  Lif had to leave early, after the 7th hole to take him home.

A total of five birdies were made today:  Steve(3), Keith(1) and Lif(1).  One disc found by Steve in the creek.  He paid the price for it by getting a little wet.
