Roy G. Guerrero

A small group played Roy G. today, Keith, Steve, Bob and myself.  We must have just missed Mark, he got there a couple of minutes after we left.  When we walked to the first tee there were about twenty people standing around, getting ready to tee off.  We decided that we did not want to play behind such a large group so we skipped the first hole.  We came back and played it later along with #2 thru #4 again until Bob and I bailed.

The weather was a little warm but not really too bad.  Lots of humidity from the recent rains, a slight breeze and a mostly cloudy sky.  Other than the large group we saw at the first tee the course was really not very crowded.  This course is maintained so much better than the course we played last week at Bartholomew.

This is a very challenging course, some very long holes and an abundance of trees that require you to throw both long and accurate shots.  Other than Steve, I think we all had a below average day.  I was inconsistent on my drives, just could not get the throws off like I have been the past few weeks.  Keith had problems throwing too low on the fairways and the trees gave all of us problems.  We all had some good throws but it was not our best game today.   Maybe we missed having the competition from Lif, Dave and Parker.

Two birdies made today, both by Steve.  One disc found (Bob) on the way back after we bailed out.  One disc abandoned.  Steve forgot to pick up Mr. Pink somewhere along the way.
