Twin Parks Country Club

We made a road trip today to Dripping Springs to play at the Twin Parks Country Club.  This is a country club just for disc golf.  They have a very nice clubhouse that you can buy beer and discs.  It is a pay to play course and costs $10 a person.  They have two courses, the Parkshire and the Parkhill.  We played the Parshire first, it is mostly on flat ground.  We have played this course before.

The day started off cloudy, cool and breezy.  After about an hour the sun came out and I got a pretty good suntan today.  The group today was Lif, Steve, Dave and myself.  It turned out to be such a nice day, that after finishing the Parkshire course Steve, Lif and me decided to play the Parkhill course. The wind really affected our scores today, damn few pars and only one birdie was made.  Steve threw the birdie from about 70 feet.

This was the first time to play the Parkhill.  Very challenging course, the terrain is very rugged, lots of hills, rocks and trees.  The biggest challenge was trying to find the next hole.  They really need to work on their signage.

Watch out for that tree Dave!
