We ventured west today and met up at the Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls for a delicious breakfast. Thanks to Dave for picking up the tab. Afterwards, we played an exciting round of disc golf at the Westside Park DGC. Today's players were: Steve, Dave, Lif, Chris, Keith and Heady. The weather was perfect with temperatures in the middle 60's, mostly sunny skies and only a slight breeze. Course conditions were very good, they recently mowed the fairways. We haven't played this course in over a year and they changed the basket locations on all of the holes. There were only a couple of other players on the course.
Other than four missed putts I had a pretty good day. I was satisfied with my drives and my approach shots got me close enough. I avoided most of the trees. Dave had several very nice drives that led to easy birdies.
There were 11 birdies made today, everyone got at least one: Dave(3), Lif(3), Chris(2), Steve(1), Keith(1) and Heady(1). No discs lost and no discs found.
