Circle C

It turned out to be a nice day after all for a round of disc golf at Circle C.  The weather forecast said a strong cold front was blowing in with rain and 25 mph winds.  When we started the temperatures were in the low 70's, no wind and a mostly cloudy sky.  Today's players were:  Steve, Bob, Lif, DD, Donald and Heady.  It was good to see Roscoe the Therapy Dog again.  Course conditions were dry and it was busy today.  We had to let several groups play thru.   The front blew in on the 6th hole but there was no rain and the wind was not that bad.

I scored a little below my average for this course.  I started out well but had some stupid throws that hurt me.  I found my long drive on the back nine and was able to snap off some throws with some pretty decent distance.   I did manage to make par on the #11 and #16,  been a while since I've done that.  Steve damn near had an eagle on #14, his disc sailed past the basket.  DD popped his elbow throwing a power shot on the 11th fairway.  He was in some pain but managed to overcome it.  Donald had some impressive drives on #13 and #18. He managed and easy par on #18.

A total of nine birdies were made today:  Steve(2), Bob(2), Donald(2), DD(2) and Bob(1).  None for me, I only had one real chance and I choked.  No disc founds but one disc lost by DD on #16.  Despite his elbow pain he managed to throw a monster drive deep into the tall trees on the right side.
