Circle C - The Eagle Has Landed!

This week we played our old favorite, Circle C, in South Austin.  Today's players were:  Steve, Brian, Keith, Dave, Lif, Bob and myself.  Sunny skies, no wind and the temperature was cool when we started but it warmed up after a few holes.  Course conditions were good, a little muddy in some places.

Steve had the shot of the day, an eagle on number 1.  Steve had a very long drive and ended up in the fairway, just before the gap in the trees.  He then threw his Star Leopard about 150 feet, straight and flat, it settled right in the basket.  It did not even rattle the chains.

Everyone played fairly well today.  Steve, Brian and Dave posted scores significantly better than the last time we played here.  Steve ended up only one over par for the day.  Both Brian and Dave had some very nice approach shots and solid putting.  I missed a couple of putts I should have made, clanked off the the yellow ring.  But I made a couple of putts that I could have easily missed, so I was about even.

A total of one eagle and ten birdies were made today.  Eagles - Steve (1).  Birdies:  Steve(2), Brian(2), Keith(2), Dave(2), Heady(1) and Bob(1).
