Circle C - Large Group

Today we played Circle C for the second time this month.  I don't mind, I like playing this course and it is the favorite of the group.  At this point of the summer, other courses are too overgrown and it gets too hot to play the longer courses (like last week).  We had another large group of players this week:  Steve, Micah, Big Dave, Keith, David, Lif, Brian, Parker, Derek and Heady.  Bob could not make it today and he was missed.  The skies were overcast when we started but the clouds quickly burned away and we had abundant sunshine.  Temperatures in the low 90's and a slight breeze.  The course was busy but not crowded, we let several smaller groups play through.

I had an good round today, I did not make any birdies but I was pleased overall with my throws.  I only missed one putt I should have made; but otherwise I made bogey on the holes that I usually bogey.  Steve had a good game, looks like he is back in form.  He had a legitimate shot at an eagle on #5 but ended up with a birdie.

A total of 13 birdies were made today: Steve(4), Keith(3), Parker(3), Dave(1) and David(2).  No discs lost, one disc found by Steve on #14.

  1. I like the affect on that second-to-last pic. Almost makes it seem like a particularly romantic time in all of our lives, not at all like a double-bogey.

(it's not nostalgia if you weren't alive to see it the first time #Hipsters)
