Zilker Park

It has been a while since we played Zilker park, we really should play it more often.  Mostly flat, mostly open and all holes are par 3.   Today's group consisted of Steve, Big Dave, Bob, Mike, Derek and myself.  This was Derek's first time to play in two years and he did very well.  The weather today started out sunny and cool but turned out to be a beautiful day. There was just a slight breeze from the south.

Steve had the shot of the day on #16, 258 feet, almost another ace.  His drive was about one inch too high, it clanked off the very bottom of the yellow ring.  At least it was an easy birdie.  All together there were six birdies today:  Steve (2), Derek(2), Dave(1) and Bob(1).  My best shot at a birdie turned into a bogie, I hate when I do that.  Mike made a very long putt on #18 to save par.

It was such a nice day that Bob, Mike, Derek and myself decided to play the first nine again.
