MetCenter Disc Golf - Windy Day

Today we played the MetCenter Disc Golf Course for the second time.  I really like this course.  It has several challenging holes with lots of trees and also has wide open holes to let it fly.  You also have to avoid a small stream that meanders throughout the course.  The basket placement on several holes really make it challenging.

The conditions today were less than ideal.  Temperatures at tee time were in the forties, but the big factor was the wind.  A steady north wind of twenty five miles per hour with gusts up to forty.  The sun was out and we still had fun.  We saw only two other groups on the course today.

Today's group consisted of Big Dave, Lif, Bob, Keith, Steve and myself.  Two birdies were made today, Bob (fantastic shot) and Steve.  The wind really hurt our scores today.  One disc lost, Keith's favorite blue disc and one disc found, Steve found a Buzz disc that quickly became one of his favorites.

Bob's birdie came on a 100+ foot throw.  I did not see it, but looked up when I heard the chains ring.  Bob seems to throw a long one in almost every time we play!  Keith lost his disc on the same hole, it went into the dirty water.  Steve found the Buzz disc while searching for Keith's disc.
