We met up this morning in Manor at the East Metro Park. Today's players were: Chris, Big Dave, Lif, Darden and Heady. A front blew in yesterday leaving us with temperatures in the 70's, sunny skies and a north wind blowing 10-15mph. A hint of fall in the air. Course conditions were good, although a tree fell on the basket on #11. There were only a couple of other groups on the course.
I played alright today. I started out slow and finished terrible, but in between I managed to string some pars together. I missed a couple of stupid putts, one for birdie. I had the shot of the day on #9 when I threw in a blind shot for birdie from about 90 feet out. Lif had some grip lock issues and Darden had elevation issues. Either too high or too low.
Only three birdies made today: Chris(1), Lif(1) and Heady(1). No discs found, Lif almost lost a disc but a group playing behind us picked it up. All-Star par frame on #7.
