Westside Park - Are You Experienced?

We fed and happy

We met up at my place in Bee Cave at 8:00 and drove to Marble Falls.  We met up with Chris at The Blue Bonnet Cafe for a very good breakfast before heading over to Westside Park for an enjoyable round of disc golf.  Today's players were:  Chris, Lif, Keith and Heady.  Temperatures were in the 70's, partly cloudy skies and very little wind.  Perfect conditions.  Course conditions were excellent.  There were only a few other players on the course.

I got off to a slow start (again) but was able to record a decent score.  I had few good drives and a few bad ones.  My problem again this week was putting.  I missed at least six putts, several for birdie.  I made all of my anger putts!  Don't think, just throw.

There were seven birdies made:  Chris(4), Lif(1), Keith(1) and Heady(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.  We stopped by the Classic Car Show in Bee Cave when we got back.

At the Classic Car Show in Bee Cave

Williamson County DGC - I did not play

The group played today at Wilco.  The players were: Steve, Lif, Chris, Dave and Keith.  It was a chilly morning with temperatures in the upper 40's.  Sunny skies and little wind.  Perfect weather for disc golf.  

I did not play today.  I had dog duty this weekend plus my back was giving me spasms this week.   I thought it best to sit this one out.

Only one birdie made:  Dave(1).

Wong Way Woods - Redemption

We met up at 8:00 at Macho Tacos in Manchaca for breakfast before heading south to Buck's Backyard in Buda to play the Wong Way Woods DGC.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Chris, Keith and Heady.  Temperatures were a comfortable 75 degrees, sunny skies and a light breeze.  Course conditions were good.  The recent rains helped.  We were pretty much the only players on the course.

We all played better than last week.  I started off with some good drives today and I was satisfied with the way I played.  I made a few bad throws but was able to recover without too much damage.  Chris was a birdie machine today, he made four including three in a row.

A total of eight birdies were made today:  Chris(4), Steve(1), Dave(1), Keith(1) and Heady(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.
