Austin Ridge Bible Church - Wednesday Practice Round
We played an afternoon practice round at Austin Ridge Bible Church. It's been a couple of years since we've played there and we were curious about the condition of the course. The players were: Lif, Dave, Keith and Heady. It was warm with temperatures near 90 degrees. The course really could use some maintenance. The brush has grown substantially and there are fallen branches on some fairways. It was rough, did not keep score but we had fun!

Circle C - Saturday Round
It being Mother's Day weekend, we decided to play on Saturday at Circle C. Today's players were: Steve, Lif, Dave, Chris and Heady. The weather was perfect. Temperatures in the 70's, sunny skies and calm winds. Course conditions were good. There were only a few other players on the course.
I had another frustrating week. I had double bogey disasters on easy holes #3 and #8 and finished the back nine with a par on the last six holes. I missed six putts! My putts were dead center but either bounced of the basket or clanked off the ring. I did manage to par #11 for the first time in recent memory.
Only three birdies made today: Chris(1), Dave(1) and Steve(1). No discs lost and one disc found by Chris. High in the trees on the #5 fairway.

Circle C - Another Gorgeous Day
Circle C was the place to be this morning. Today's players were: Steve, Keith, Dave, Darden and Heady. Temperatures were in the 60's, sunny skies and no wind. We had a lot of rain this week but the course was not too muddy. The creek was not flowing. There were a fair number of other players on the course.
I played a little below average. Actually we all did. My drives were a little off and I missed three easy putts. Darden had a rough front nine but a very good back nine.
Only one birdie made today, Darden on #12. No discs lost and no discs found.

Northtown - Good Day
It was a good day to play Northtown. The players today were: Steve, Lif, Chris, Keith, Darden (welcome back!) and Heady. Temperatures were in the 70's, mostly cloudy skies and very little breeze. Course conditions were good. They've had a lot of rain the past couple of weeks and the creek was flowing. There were many other players on the course.
I played alright today. Some good drives and accurate approach shots for the most part. I did have a disaster hole on #10 and my approach shots were way too long on #17 and #18. Those cost me four strokes.
There were six birdies made today: Chris(2), Lif(2), Steve(1) and Heady(1). One disc lost, my drive sleeps with the fishes on #12. Chris found one, high in the trees on #9.
