Undaunted by the 3 inches of recent rain, hearty Lumberjacks Steve,
Lif, Keith, Mike, and Dave took on the high water creeks and muddy fairways
of Met Center on Sunday. I could not play because I had other obligations.
Sadly, several more of the drought-stricken
trees had been toppled by this latest storm, making play that much
more difficult. Other than the slippage of muddy feet and wet disk, the
cool temperatures, cloudy skies and light breezes created an ideal day for
disc golf.
Very muddy, muddy day but cool. A new player joined the group, Mike Burko, Susies friend from
school. Steve found two discs--washed out of the creeks. All the creeks had running
water, a first. Hole 11 was under water so everyone pared that hole.
Thanks to Dave for for the pictures.
