MetCenter - Warm Day

Steve's friend Mark is back in town, so we took him to the MetCenter for a round.  Today's players were:  Steve, Bob, Lif, Dave, Mark and Heady.  Temperatures got into the 90's during the round, skies were clear and there was a slight breeze.  Steve brought Macho Tacos to give us the strength for a good round.  Course conditions were fair, it wasn't too muddy, but the grass needed to be mowed.  There were several other groups on the course.

I played about my average for this course.  I was short sleep from a late night out and an early morning call from work.  On the front nine I was only two over but I had some trouble on the back nine.  I missed about five putts that I should have made, but I made a couple that I easily could have missed.   Mark impressed all of us with his long drives.

A total of five birdies were made:  Steve, Heady, Mark, Lif and Bob each had one.  No discs found, but Lif lost one in the creek on #16.

Circle C

A warm morning round at Circle C.  Today's player were:  Steve, Keith, Bob, Dave, Lif and Heady.  Temperatures were in the upper 80's, mostly sunny skies and a slight north breeze.  Course conditions were dry and there were lots of other players (a lot of solo players) on the course.

I had an average round today, could have been better.  I started out well with a birdie on #1 and then I went from a birdie shot to a bogey on #2.  I still have problems with my putting but I did manage to make a few tough ones.  Bob had a great round with nice drives and approaches and a few pretty long putts.

A total of nine birdies were made today:  Bob(3), Steve(2), Keith(1), Heady(1) and Lif(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

East Metro Park - Manor - In the summertime, because we wanted a challenge

We almost never play East Metro Park in the summer because it is a long course to play in the heat and the rough is overgrown with thorns.  We decided throw caution to the wind and play it anyway.  Today's brave souls were:  Steve, Dave, Lif, Keith, Bob and Heady.  Temperatures were already in the middle 80's when we finished our Macho Tacos, and it climbed into the 90's when we finished.  Skies were mostly sunny and there was a slight breeze.  Course condition were a little rough in spots, we spent a lot of time looking for discs in the rough.  A worker was out mowing the fairways.  That helped out a lot.  We did not see anyone else playing the course.

I was inconsistent again this week, good throw then bad throw.  Some of my approaches were spot on, I hit the pole with my second throw on the par 4 number 10.  I did miss at least 6 putts,  I made all my anger putts!

Only four birdies were made today:  Steve, Rob, Keith and Bob.  Three discs lost, Keith in the rough on #8, Lif high in a tree on #10 and Dave somewhere along the way.  Two discs found.
