East Metro Park - Manor - In the summertime, because we wanted a challenge

We almost never play East Metro Park in the summer because it is a long course to play in the heat and the rough is overgrown with thorns.  We decided throw caution to the wind and play it anyway.  Today's brave souls were:  Steve, Dave, Lif, Keith, Bob and Heady.  Temperatures were already in the middle 80's when we finished our Macho Tacos, and it climbed into the 90's when we finished.  Skies were mostly sunny and there was a slight breeze.  Course condition were a little rough in spots, we spent a lot of time looking for discs in the rough.  A worker was out mowing the fairways.  That helped out a lot.  We did not see anyone else playing the course.

I was inconsistent again this week, good throw then bad throw.  Some of my approaches were spot on, I hit the pole with my second throw on the par 4 number 10.  I did miss at least 6 putts,  I made all my anger putts!

Only four birdies were made today:  Steve, Rob, Keith and Bob.  Three discs lost, Keith in the rough on #8, Lif high in a tree on #10 and Dave somewhere along the way.  Two discs found.
