Moody's - Easter Sunday Covid-19 Road Trip

Every public course in the Austin area was closed this weekend due to the Covid-19 restrictions.  This was an excellent reason to head out east to Moody's Disc Golf Ranch located pretty much in the middle of nowhere, safe from any Covid exposure.  Today's players were: Steve, Keith, Lif, Chris, Dave and Heady.  A line of thunderstorms past thru early in the morning leaving us with beautiful weather.  Temperatures were in the 80's, mostly sunny skies but there was a 20mph wind blowing.  The wind was definitely a factor.  Course conditions were excellent and we had the entire course to ourselves!  We love this course and it is certainly worth the drive.  We played both courses today for 36-holes of disc golf fun.

I played about my average today, got off to a slow start and ended with a slow finish.  But I had some good throws and I don't remember missing any putts.   Everyone had problems with the wind.

We had eight birdies in the first course:  Steve(3), Keith(2), Lif, Heady and Dave(1).  Only three birdies recorded on the second course, all by Steve.  No discs found but seven discs lost in the three stock ponds!

Steve saw this dead copperhead on the dirt road into the course. We watched our step.

Talking with Dave Moody, Lif brought an Easter basket
