Covid-19 Closures

Lif and Chris drove around town yesterday desperately looking for an open course to play a round.  They supplied pictures of the various courses they visited.

All City of Austin parks, trails, greenbelts and preserves (which includes the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail) will close during the Easter weekend to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  This includes park amenities including, but not limited to: basketball courts, tennis courts, skate parks, playgrounds, disc golf courses, exercise equipment & pavilions.

Apparently, the closure applies to Travis County, Williamson County and neighborhood association courses.  Max Starkey park in Sequin is closed for the Easter Weekend.

I drove by the Church on Tuesday evening and saw a group playing.  I did not see any closed signs.  Chris went by the MetCenter and did not see any closure signs and did see a group playing.  Other public courses that might be open are Westside park in Marble Falls and Apache Shores.

Fear of the Virus had closed just about everything

Wilco is Closed!

Cat Hollow Closed!

Wells Branch also Closed!

Northtown is down!

Roy G.  Nope!
