Brushy Creek (aka Cat Hollow)

This morning we met up in Round Rock at the Brushy Creek (aka Cat Hollow) Disc Golf Course.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Keith, Bob and Heady.  A line of thunderstorms blew through this morning around 7:00 AM so things were a little wet.  When we started we had overcast skies, temperatures were in the middle 60s and some swirling breezes.  By the time we finished the skies were clear and it turned out to be a beautiful day.  We even played about six extra holes.

Course conditions were fair.  Despite the rain, the course was not too muddy.  Lots of other people were out enjoying a round of disc golf.

I played pretty well today.  My drives, for the most part, were long and straight.  My approach shots were decent and my putting was good.   I flirted with an ace on #13 but settled for a birdie.  This is a very technical course but as long as you stay in the fairway you'll be all right.

A total of five birdies were made today:  Heady(3) and Keith(2).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Heady starts us off!
