MetCenter - Mother's Day

We decided to play a round at MetCenter so Lif could get a round end before his daughter's soccer game.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Lif and Rob.  Temperatures were in the low 80's, sunny skies and a pesky breeze.  There were several other groups on the course including lots of couples.

I could not get it going on today,  my drives were not too bad but my putting was terrible.  I must have missed 6 putts.  For a while there it felt like I forgot how to throw.

A total of five birdies were made:  Steve(4) and Keith(1).   No discs lost but two discs found by Steve.

Circle C - Day Before Mother's Day

We decided to play a Saturday round at Circle C to accommodate those who had Mother's Day obligations.  Today's players were:  Steve, Bob, Dave, Keith and Rob.  Temperatures were in the upper 70's, clear skies and almost no wind.  Course conditions were good and dry, many of the fairways were recently mowed and there were only a few other groups on the course.

I did not have one of my better rounds and Circle C, in fact, I almost had the same score at Roy G. last week.  All of us, except Steve, had below average rounds.   I had problems with my accuracy and wound up behind a lot of trees.  Playing Bob Rules was not really a factor, I would have stunk it up playing by normal rules.  I did manage to par #11 which was my bright spot for the day.

Only three birdies were made today all by Steve.  He finished the round at even par.  Even Steven!
No discs lost and no discs found.

Roy G. Guerrero DGC

I was a beautiful day to play the Roy G. in East Austin.  Temperatures were in the upper 70's, abundant sunshine and no wind.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Bob, Dave and myself.  Course conditions were good and there were only a couple of other groups on the course.

I had a pretty good day, on the front nine at least.  I finished the front nine only three over par and one of those was a missed putt.  I did have a putt go 'top shelf' on number 2 so I guessed those evened out.  I finally made par on #7.  This is one of the hardest course in Austin with very long holes and lots of trees.  I managed to avoid the trees today for the most part and that's what helped my score.   Dave and Keith both made long putts on #12 to save par.

No birdies were made today.  No discs lost and no discs found.
