Steeplechase - Perfect Day

 We met up this morning an Macho Tacos in Manchaca for a delicious breakfast, then we headed south to Kyle, Texas for a round at the Steeplechase Disc Golf Park.  The players today were:  Steve, Lif, Keith, Chris, Dave, Darden and Heady.   Temperatures were in the 30's when we started but they warmed up quickly.  The sky was sunny and there was not a lot of wind to contend with.  Course conditions were good and there were a few other groups on the course today.

We all had a pretty good round today.  I had mybest round in at least six months.  My drives were not all that long but they were straight.  My approach shots were dead on and I only missed three putts. 

There were 11 birdies made today:  Steve(4), Chris(2), Darde(2), Heady(1), Keith(1) and Lif(1).  No discs found and one lost disc by Chris on #4.  His drive took a hard left kiss off a tree and into the creek.

Wilco - Cold Start

 It was a cold morning at Williamson County DGC this morning.  Temperatures were in the lower 30's when we started.  Today's players were:  Steve, Lif, Keith, Chris and Heady.  Although it was cold the wind was not blowing and the sun was shining.  Course conditions were fair.  There was some construction in the parking lot and we had to walk around it to get to the first tee.  Also, there was still a lot of ice on the ground from last week's winter storm.  There were a few other groups on the course.

 Only three birdies today:  Steve(2) and Chris(1).  No discs found, no discs lost.

Circle C - Cool Morning and Hot Tacos

 It was cool morning at Circle C but the Macho Tacos that Steve brought heated us up.  Today's players were: Steve, Dave, Lif, Keith, Chris, Mark, Felix and Heady.  Temperatures were in the low 40's when we started, but the sun was out and the wind was calm.  The wind did pick up a little during the back nine.  Course conditions were good and the course was active.

I had another bad round.   Lack of control and lack of strength issues have not improved.  I was not satisfied with very many of my drives and my putting was a little off.  Chris was a birdie machine on the back nine.  Keith got off to a slow start but really picked it up on the back nine.

There were six birdies made today:  Chris(4), Steve(1) and Keith(1).  No discs lost and one disc found on the #17 fairway.
