Chris and I played a round at the Carlsbad DGC in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Interesting course, mostly open spaces with a few challenges, water came into play. There was a distinct odor of raw sewage on the first couple of holes. We encountered a homeless person on the back nine. He didn't like my drive, so he gave my disc a toss. The other problem we had was families in fairway, enjoying the park.
The course was in pretty good shape, they were hosting a major tournament on the weekend, so we were lucky to play it when we did. I played horribly, I just couldn't get it going. Chris had a decent round.
No birdies were made. We almost lost our discs in the water on #14 but we were able to recover them and find two more!
