North Town - I did not play

 I was away in Dallas last weekend, the group played North Town.  The players were:  Steve, Dave, Lif, Chris and Keith.  I'm sure it was a hot day!  

There were five birdies made: Steve(2), Chris(1), Dave(1) and Keith(1).

One disc found and one disc sleeps with the fishes in the pond on #12.  Lif's drive on #12 hit a dove in flight.  The dove survived!

MetCenter with Macho Tacos

 We met up at 8:30 at the MetCenter for some Macho Tacos and Disc Golf!  Today's players were: Steve, Keith, Dave, Lif and Heady.   Temperatures were in the 90's,  sunny skies and no wind to speak of.  The course conditions were bone dry, lots of dead vegetation,  we really need some rain.  There were only a few other players on the course.

I got of to a slow start, I hit too many trees but managed to save bogey.  When I didn't hit a tree I was very satisfied with my drives and approach shots.  I missed a few clutch putts but did make a couple of long ones.  Lif was having a very good round, his drives were going very long and straight.  Then he blew chunks on the 12th fairway and decided to end his round.  I think it was a combination of the tacos and the heat.

Only three birdies were made today:  Steve(1), Lif(1) and Dave(1).  I had a couple of chances but blew the putts.  Steve had a few other chances also.  One disc found by Steve, no discs lost.

Brushy Creek MUD DGC - aka Cat Hollow

 We ventured north to Round Rock to play the Cat Hollow DGC.  Today's players were:  Steve, Lif, Keith and Heady.  Temperatures were in the 90's, partly cloudy skies and a south wind blowing 10-15mph.  Course conditions were good but very dry.  There were a good number of other players on the course.

I started out missing three easy putts on the the first four holes.  Otherwise I played about my average.

There were four birdies made today:  Steve(2), Lif(1) and Heady(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Steeplechase Park - Kyle

 We met up at 8:00 this morning at Macho Taco in Manchaca for a filling breakfast before driving to Kyle to play Steeplechase.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Keith and Heady.  Temperatures were in the 90's, sunny skies and a pesky breeze was blowing all day.  Course conditions were very dry, the creeks were almost completely dry.  There was a tournament going on, so there were lots of players on the course.  We had to wait a few times.

I started off strong and was having a good round until the wheels fell off on the last four holes.  My approach shots were off and my putter failed me several times.  The wind did not help, although it did keep us cooler.

There were six birdies made today:  Steve(4), Dave(1) and Heady(1).  No discs found and no discs lost.
