We met up at 8:30 at the Church for a quick breakfast of Macho Tacos
that Steve brought. Today's players were: Steve, Lif, Dave (back from
the Indian subcontinent) and
Heady. Temperatures were in the 40's when we started, skies were mostly
cloudy but cleared out by the time we finished. The winds were calm.
Course conditions were fair, there was a lot of damage to the trees from
the ice storm last month. We pretty much had the course to ourselves.
Happy #61 Birthday Lif!
I
started out well with back to back pars and then was quickly humbled by
the course. I hit too many trees and missed too many putts. I did
finish strong with a 75 foot flick to save bogey. Nobody really tore up
the course today.
No
birdies were made today, Lif had a good look on #7 and Dave had a good
chance on #18. Both putts bounced off the chains. No discs found and
no discs lost. I did split one of my favorite discs, my blue/green Sidewinder, on my drive on #15. It must have hit the tree just right
because I can't throw it hard enough to split a disc!
