Austin Ridge Bible Church - Sunday Service

 Steve wanted to play the Church this week so that's where we played.  Today's players were:  Steve, Chris, Keith, Dave and Heady.  Another hot day, temperatures were in the 90's, sunny skies and an occasional breeze.  Course condition were good for the Church.  Some of the trees lost their limbs and a lot the brush has died from the drought.  There were a few other brave souls on the course.

Not one of my better rounds for the Church.  Although my drives were not terrible, many of my approach shots were off.  My putting let me down on several holes.  Big Dave had the Big Shot of the day with a toss in from about 90 feet for par on the hole 4.

There were four birdies made today:  Steve(2), Chris(2) and Keith(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Steeplechase Park - Kyle

 We met up at Macho Taco's in Manchaca at 8:00 for a delicious breakfast before heading south to Kyle to play the challenging Steeplechase Park course.  We had a big group today:  Steve, Donald, Chris, Keith, Lif, Darden, Dave and Heady.  Temperatures were in the upper 80's, sunny skies and a good breeze was blowing.  Course conditions were dry, I've never seen the creek so dry.  They made some minor improvements to the course and there were several tree that were down.  There were a few other groups on the course.

We all played fairly well today.  My drives could have been a little better and I was off on a few approach shots.  I made most of my putts but made bogey on several holes that were easy pars.

There were a total of 18 birdies today:  Chris(4), Steve(4), Darden(4), Dave(3), Donald(1), Keith(1) and Heady(1).  Three discs found, one by Steve and two by Chris. One disc lost by Donald, it sleeps with the fishes.
