North Town - Angels and Demons

It was a nice morning for a round of disc golf at the North Town course in Pflugerville.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Lif, Keith, Chris and Heady.  Temperatures were in the 70's, skies were mostly cloudy and the wind was not blowing (for once).  Course conditions were a little dry, we could use some rain.  We pretty much had the course to ourselves.

After a slow start we all played well today.  I had some pretty good drives and did not feel any pain in my shoulder.   I made a few stupid mistakes that cost me a few strokes.  Sometimes you just have to lay up and take the bogey instead of going for it and getting a double bogey.  Steve was a birdie machine on the back nine.

There were 10 birdies made today:  Steve(4), Chris(2), Lif(2), Dave(1) and Keith(1).   No discs lost and one disc found by Keith.

Austin Ridge Bible Church - Saturday Birthday Round

Since tomorrow is Easter Sunday we decided to play a Saturday round at the Austin Ridge Bible Church.  I was also my birthday, thanks for the many gifts.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Lif, Chris, Keith and Heady.  Skies were cloudy and temperatures were in the upper 70's.  There was hardly any wind and it was a little humid.  Course conditions were good for the Church, a few down trees.  There were a few other players on the course.

I did about my average for the church.  I really did not have too many good throws and I choked on a couple of putts.  I need to work on that.

There were five birdies made today:  Chris(3), Steve(1) and Keith(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Enjoying some Macho Tacos!
