Roy G. - Large Group and a Long Course

We had a large turnout at 9:00 this morning at the ever challenging Roy G. Guerrero course.  The players today were:  Steve, Big Dave, Lif, Chris, Keith, Darden, Bob!, Mark (new guy) and Heady.  This was Mark's first time playing disc golf and Lif thought it was a good idea to have him learn on the hardest course in Austin.  Temperatures were a little cool, in the low 60's, partly sunny skies and a pesky breeze was blowing.  Course conditions were fair, lots of pedestrians wandering about, also the homeless camps have sprung up again around holes #16 and #17.  Happy Birthday to Big Dave!

Our group was so large we decided to split into two groups.  I played with Dave, Keith and Darden. I played about my average as of late.  Got some good throws and then some bad ones.  Other than hole #3, my approach shots let me down and cost me several strokes.  Keith had the same problem.

Only one birdie made today and that was a circus shot by Darden on #13.  No discs found and one disc split in two!
