To celebrate Keith's 60th birthday, we ventured east to play a couple of rounds at Moody's Disc Golf Ranch. A large group turned out: Combs, Lif, Dave, Chris, Donald, Darden, Bob, Beth, John, Heady and of course Keith. Course conditions were good, just watch your step. There were a few other groups and solo players on the course.
The weather was the story, we had a little bit of everything. When we started the first round, it was foggy but not all that cold. After the first round it cooled down considerably, the temperature dropped about 10 degrees. Between rounds we ate lunch and toasted Keith with champagne. During the second round, it warmed up about 10 degrees when the clouds cleared and the sun came out for about 45 minutes. Then, as we finished the last two holes, the clouds came back, with north winds blowing 25mph with gusts up to 40mph.
I think everyone had a pretty good game and I know everyone had a fun day. Too many birdies to list today. No discs found and two discs lost in the stock tank.
