Circle C - Year of the Rat

A beautiful Sunday in January to play Circle C.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Lif, Bob, Dave Chris and Heady. Temperatures were in the 50's when we started but it warmed up quickly to about 70.  Clear skies and only a slight north breeze.  Course conditions were good, a little slick in some places, the creek was still dry.  There were lots of other players on the course today.

I had a pretty good game today.  I made more good throws than bad ones.  I had some good drives and I don't think I missed any putts. It was a fun day.

Eight birdies were made today:  Steve(2), Keith(2), Heady(1), Dave(1), Lif(1) and Bob(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

North Town - Pflugerville

It was a brisk day for a round at North Town in Pflugerville.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Bob, Dave, Lif, Chris and Heady.  Temperatures were in the upper 30's when we started and a cold north wind was blowing.  At least the sun was out.  Course conditions were good, the creeks and ponds were full.  There were several other large groups on the course.  We started on the third hole in order to jump ahead of a large group.

I didn't play all that great today, but considering the conditions, I did alright.  The cold, the wind and the trees took their toll on our game.  Steve was a birdie machine today and Chris hit several long putts and just missed a couple more.  Bob came very close to a "skip in" Ace on #8.

A total of eight birdies were made today:  Steve(5) and Bob(3).  There were three lost discs and two found discs.
