Today we ventured up north to Round Rock to play Cat Hollow (aka Brushy Creek). Today's players were Steve, Brian (yes, there was a Brian sighting!), Dave, Keith, Lif, Bob and Heady. Temperatures were in the the 50's, mostly cloudy skies and a little breezy at times. Course conditions were good and there were lots of players on the course. The cedar pollen was really coming out. When a disc would hit a cedar tree, the branch would explode in a puff of yellow smoke!
I did about average today, I had some good throws but was a little inconsistent. I made some good putts but I missed a couple.
A total of 10 birdies were made today: Steve(2), Dave(2), Keith(2), Lif(1), Bob(1), Brian(1) and Heady(1). No discs lost and one disc found by Bob, he left it for the owner.
To celebrate Dave's birthday, we started the round with a shot of tequila! |
