North Town - Windy Day - Large Group

We headed up to Pflugerville to play a round at the North Town disc golf course.  We had a big group today:  Steve, Dave, Lif, Brian, Bob, DaveD, Donald, Keith and myself.  Skies were overcast, temperatures were in the middle 60's but the wind was the real story.  Winds were blowing steady from the north at about 25mph with gusts up to 40.  It really made it for an interesting day.  Other than the wind, course conditions were good and there were several other groups on the course.

We all had our problems with the wind today, except for DaveD, who somehow managed to score a pretty decent round.  Keith almost had an ace from the short tee on on #12.  His drive hit solidly on the chains but bounced out.  Most of us played the short tees on #12 because we were certain the wind would blow our discs into the pond. 

Somehow there were 10 birdies made today:  Keith(3), DaveD(2), Heady(2), Bob(1), Donald(1) and Brian(1).  No discs found but 6 discs lost in the ponds on #12 and #14.
