Williamson County - Leander

We traveled up north today to play the Williamson County Disc Golf Course in Leander.  Today's players were:  Steve, Brian, Keith, Dave, Lif, BOB, and Heady.  Skies were overcast, temperatures were in the middle 50's, although it felt much colder because of a strong breeze blowing out of the south.  Course conditions were good and dry, it is cedar season and the cedar trees would explode with puffs of pollen whenever a disc struck them.  Several other groups were on the course today having a good time.

We all pretty much sucked today.  The wind and the trees took their toll on our game.  Brian had the shot of the day on number 15.  He threw a blind shot, over a clump of cedar, from about 110 feet out into the basket.

Only two birdies were made today:  Bob and Brian, both on #11.  No discs lost but I think one was found on #17.
