We drove up north for and early start at the Williamson County Disc Golf Course in Leander. This is a mostly flat, moderately wooded course with average length holes. Today's players were: Steve, Dave, Lif, Brian, Keith, another Brian, and myself. Temperatures were in the 90's, sunny skies and a dry north wind. The course was in good shape, although the lack of rain in the past month was apparent. We saw only a couple of groups playing this morning so we pretty much had the course to ourselves.
I played about average today, I had a couple of lousy drives and some shots ended up in the rough, but I also had some good approach shots and only missed one putt.
A total of three birdies were made today: Steve(1), Heady(1) and Keith(1). Two discs found and Lif left his blue/green swirl disc somewhere on the back nine.
Several of us played a bonus round just for fun. Steve made a birdie on #13, a long par 4. A very long drive with his new Glide and a perfect anhyzer approach shot.
