North Town - Pflugerville

We played North Town DGC in Pflugerville this weekend.  This is a very challenging course with lots of trees and the water comes into play on many holes.  The course has dried up some but the vegetation is pretty thick in some places.  Today's players were:  Steve, Lif, Dave, Keith, Bob and Heady.  Good to play with Bob again!  Temperatures were in the 80's, a partly cloudy sky and the breeze picked up during the day.

By accident, I started out throwing my throwaway disc, a DX Roadrunner, and was getting very good results with it.  The drives were long and straight, right up to the point were I threw it into the pond on #12.  I lost three discs on Sunday, ouch!   I did not play terribly but I did have some problem holes, one double bogey and two triple bogies.  I did manage par on a couple of the more difficult holes.

I counted a total of  seven birdies today:  Dave (4) good job!, Steve(2) and Lif(1).  No discs found, five discs lost, Steve and Dave on #12, Heady (2) on #12 and one on #14.
