We played a Saturday game today because Lif and Brian have obligations on Sunday. We played the Wells Branch Disc Golf Course in far north Austin. This is a neighborhood course and is usually crowded on Sunday, it was not very crowded today. At least not when we started. Today's players were: Steve, Dave, Lif, Keith, Brian and myself. Weather conditions were perfect, temperatures in the upper 60's, no wind and abundant sunshine. The course condition were fair, two holes, #13 and #15, were missing due to a nearby construction project.
This is a fun course to play, the holes are fairly short but many require precise throws. The little creek that runs through the course is a hazard on many of the holes. I think we all found it at least once today. I had some drives today that looked liked they were pretty close to being an ace. My putter failed me a few times today.
Looks like there were 23 birdies today: Keith(6), Steve(5), Dave(5), Brian(4) and Heady(3). No discs lost, no discs found.
