This week we changed things up a bit and played Saturday afternoon instead of our usual Sunday morning. The weather today was dry, calm, partly cloudy and a pleasant 75 degrees. The weather tomorrow morning is forecast to be wet, windy, overcast and about 40 degrees. We were going to try someplace new this week but decided at the last minute to play Zilker Park.
Today we had a small group: Lif, Dave, Steve and myself. The City of Austin is doing maintenance on the course and we discovered that the first nine baskets were removed. We decided to play the back nine twice. It was kind of crowded today, the nice weather brought people out but everyone was restricted to only playing the back nine.
We did not keep score today but I played much better than the last time I played this course. Steve and Dave left after we played about nineteen holes, Lif and I decided to play another nine holes. I think after 28 holes I was about seven over par. I had two birdies today, both on the hole the runs next to MoPac. Dave had one birdie and Steve had one birdie and played even par for the day (Even Steven).
We missed Bob today, no scorecard and not a lot of photos.
