Circle C

It was a very nice February day to play Circle C in South Austin.  Temperatures were in the low 70's, mostly cloudy skies and very little breeze.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Keith, Bob and Heady.  Course conditions were very good,  the creek had some water in it but the course was dry.  Quite a few other players were on the course this morning.

I played a little below my average for this course.  I made bogey on three holes that I usually make par.  I absolutely choked on  a birdie putt on #15 and I missed a couple of putts that I make about half the time.  I did make par on the difficult holes #5 and #11, so that is some consolation.

Steve and Keith both had very good rounds, scoring one under par and one over par, respectively.  Dave made a very long putt to make par on #16 and Bob had long putt to save par on #17.

Five birdies were made today:  Steve(3) and Keith(2).  No discs lost and one disc found by Bob on #17.

Austin Ridge Bible Church - Super Bowl Sunday

We played a Sunday afternoon round at the Austin Ridge Bible Church.  We started at 1:00 in the afternoon because Bob was hosting a Super Bowl party for the group after the round.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Bob, Brian, Lif and Rob.  Temperatures were in the low 70's, mostly cloudy skies and very little wind.  Course conditions were good and there were a lot of cars in the parking lot but we did not see many people on the course.

I played a little below my average for this course.  I had several double bogeys on holes I usually make pars or birdies.  Steve had a very good round for this course, finishing 2 over par.  There were several nice throws made today.   Bob had a blind tomahawk throw on #3 with his disc ending up under the basket. Dave had a long fairway birdie on #11 from about 90 feet out.  Brian made some long putts.  Steve had a great drive on #14, about 400 feet and straight.

A total of 5 birdies were made:  Dave(2), Steve(2) and Lif(1). Two discs found by Lif and Brian.  Two discs lost by Bob, into the pond on #18.
