Northtown - The Gang's All Here

We had a big turnout this morning at the Northtown DGC.  Today's players were:  Donald, Lif, Bob, Darden, Big Dave, Chris, Steve, Keith and Heady.  It was cloudy and a little cool when we started.  Temperatures were in the upper 40's and an occasional slight breeze was blowing.  By the time we finished, it warmed up to almost 60 and there was intermittent sunshine.  Course conditions were good, a little muddy in places.  There weren't a lot of players on the course.

I scored a little below average today.  My drives were decent for the most part.  I had some problems with my control on my fairway and approach shots.  I missed one or two putts.  I made bogey or worse on some of the easiest holes on the course!

There were 16 birdies made today:  Donald(4), Lif(4),  Bob(3), Darden(3), Chris(2).  No discs lost and two discs found in the pond on #12.

Videos are at the end, blogger was being difficult again.

MetCenter - Cold and Windy

It was a cold and windy morning for disc golf at the MetCenter today.  Today's players were:  Steve, Chris, Keith, Lif, Dave, Darden and Heady.  Temperatures were in the upper 30's when we teed off at 9:00.  A 15mph north wind was blowing, at least we had sunny skies.  Course conditions were good, the creek had water in it and they recently mowed the fairways.  There were several other groups on the course.

Pretty much everyone except Chris had a very good round.   The wind played havoc on the discs, putting was often an adventure.

Somehow, there were seven birdies made today:  Chris(3), Keith(2), Darden(1) and Dave(1).  Four discs lost (three in the pond on #15), one disc found.

Blogger was being difficult today.  Several videos are past the scorecard, not where I wanted them to be located.
