Circle C - Memorial Day Weekend

We met up at 8:00 at Circle C for an exciting day of disc golf.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Lif, Bob, Chris and Heady.  It was 80 degrees and humid when we teed off.  Skies were cloudy and there was a slight breeze.  Course conditions were good and dry.  There were several other groups on the course.  We let several play through.

I played alright today even with some stupid mistakes.  I had a few poor drives, some stupid approaches and a couple of fairway flubs that cost me about six strokes.  I did make all my putts, including some long ones.  Lif had a good round after six weeks of being laid up.  Chris was a birdie machine, including the first three holes!

There were eight birdies made today:  Chris(5), Heady(2) and Dave(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Northtown - The Gang's All Here

Just about the entire group showed up at Northtown this morning, it's been awhile.  The players today were:  Steve, Chris, Dave, Keith, Bob and Heady.  Lif showed up to play a rehab round, he is almost 100% recovered.  Temperatures were in the upper 80's, sunny skies and a slight breeze.  Course conditions were good, a little muddy.  The course was not crowded at all.

I played a little below my average today, I had some decent throws (and a few bad ones) and the trees took their toll.  I just couldn't string together three good throws.  Also, I missed about five putts.

There were seven birdies made today:  Chris(2), Dave(2), Bob(2) and Steve(1).  Two discs lost in the pond on #12 and one disc found in the pond on #12.

East Metro Park - Cinco de Mayo - I did not play again

The group played East Metro Park in Manor last weekend.  I was in Dallas visiting friends.  The players were:  Steve, Chris, Dave and Keith.  Rains blew thru overnight so by 8:30 the sun was coming out and the winds were calm.  The course was wet and muddy and by hole 4 everyone's socks were soaking wet.  There was no one else on the course.  Steve was able to putt and had a good round, even Steven!

Four birdies were made:  Steve(3) and Chris(1).  No discs lost and three discs found, two by Dave and one by Chris.

Keith found a gap in the hole
