Westside Park, Marble Falls - Bluebonnet Cafe Breakfast

We met up in Bee Cave at 7:30 in order to car pool to the Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls for a fantastic breakfast, then to play the Westside Park DGC.  Today's players were:  Steve, Chris, Keith, Lif, Dave and Heady.  It was a little foggy in the morning, temperatures were in the upper 50's and there was no wind when we started.  The fog lifted but the sun never did come out but the wind did pick up when we were finishing.  Course conditions were surprisingly good, no noticeable damage from the ice storm.  There were only a few other players on the course.

This is such a fun course to play.  We all had a pretty good round.  I would have had even par if I didn't triple bogey #18.  Lif and Chris both had a some long birdie putts.

There were 13 birdies made today:  Chris(4), Lif(4), Heady(3), Steve(1) and Dave(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Great Breakfast! Thanks Dave for picking up the tab

Circle C - After the Ice Storm

We were curious what Circle C looked like after the ice storm last week so we played it this morning.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Dave, Chris and Heady.  Temperatures were in the lower 50's when we started but warmed up comfortably during the round.  The skies were mostly cloudy and a breeze picked up during the morning.  There was some significant damage but most of it had already been cleaned. Other than a couple of solo players, we had the course to ourselves.

I played a little better than I have been playing the past few weeks.  I had some good drives and my approach shots were much better.  I did miss a stupid eight foot putt on #14.  Although he did have two birdies, Chris did not have one of his better rounds.  He was uncharacteristically wild today with grip lock issues.

A total of six birdies were made today:  Steve(2), Chris(2), Keith(1) and Heady(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

We saw the good luck roadrunner!

Big Dave starts us off!
