MetCenter, MetCenter Let's Play MetCenter

A beautiful morning for disc golf today at the MetCenter.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Darden, Chris, Lif and Heady.  Temperatures were in the 50's when we teed off, mostly sunny skies and an occasional breeze.  Course conditions were good, there was water again in the creek.  There were several other groups and singles on the course.

I started off with some nice drives but either made a mistake on the fairway or choked on my putts.  Later on I lost some of my power.  I am regressing.  I had a couple of putts bounce off the lip of the basket but I did make a couple of long ones.  Lif did very well today.

A total of six birdies were made today:  Lif(2), Chris(2), Heady(1) and Keith(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Lif starts us off!

The Unforgiving Church

We couldn't decide where to play this week and Lif suggested The Church, so we went with that.  Today's players were: Steve, Chris, Keith, Dave, Heady and No Lif!!  😐 Temperatures were in the 70's, partly cloudy skies and the wind was a factor.  Course conditions were fair and there was only one other group on the course.

We all hit our share of trees today.  I had trouble with my control, one mistake and you lose your chance at par.  At least I hit most of my putts.

A total of five birdies were made:  Steve(2), Dave(1), Chris(1) and Keith(1).  One disc lost, by me, in the pond on #18.  My new Tern.  Two discs found, one by Steve on #12 and one by me, by the pond on #18.  One dildo lost by Keith.

Circle C - Refresher Game

Chris and I were out last week so we played our old favorite Circle C to get us back in the groove.  Thanks to Steve for bringing the Macho Tacos and thanks to Lif for paying for them! Today's players were:  Steve, Chris, Keith, DD, Lif and Heady.  The weather was good, temperatures in the 70s-80s, partly cloudy skies and not much wind.  Course conditions were bone dry, no rain in over a month.  There were lots of other players on the course.  We let many groups play through.

I had an average day today.  I started off slow, not getting much on my drives.  Later, I was able to throw some very straight drives just not exceptionally long.  After the first five holes, my approach shots were spot on leaving me with easy putts.

Only four birdies today, Chris (2), Steve(1), Darden (1).  No disc lost and one disc found by Steve on the #5 fairway.
