Chris and I are way up north this week, we played the Derby's disc golf course in the Timber's condominiums in Island Park Idaho. It is a fun, short, technical nine hole course with a mixture of tight fairways and a few open holes
I created this blog to keep track of my disc golf games. I will also add topics relevant to the sport of disc golf.

Circle C - Early Start With Macho Tacos
I am on vacation until next month. The best way to start vacation is playing Circle C, thanks to Steve for bringing the Macho Tacos!. Today's players were: Steve, Dave, Lif, Chris and Heady. Temperatures were in the upper 70's, mostly cloudy skies and very humid. The sun came out on the last few holes. There was no wind to speak of. Course conditions were good and dry. There were a few other groups on the course.
I played about my average for Circle C. I didn't feel like my drives had much strength behind them. My flicks were flying very well. Most of my approach shots were spot on. I missed three putts, two for birdie. But I did make several putts outside my comfort zone. I think everyone had at least one disaster hole.
There were seven birdies made: Chris(4), Steve(1), Lif(1) and Dave(1). No discs lost and no discs found.

MetCenter - Patriot Day
We were blessed with beautiful weather this morning at the Met Center. Today's players were: Steve, Chris, Dave, Lif and Heady. Temperatures were in the low 80's with low humidity, sunny skies and light breezes. Course conditions were good, they cleared a lot of trees on some holes. There were many other groups on the course but I would not call it crowded. We started on the back nine to avoid a couple of groups that were starting on front nine.
I started out well but then one bad throw led to another. It was like I forgot how to throw for a while. Chris, Steve and Lif all had very good rounds. Dave had some putting problems, clank!
There were ten birdies made: Chris(4), Steve(3), Lif(2) and Dave(1). No discs lost and one disc found by Steve in the creek.
